I understand that the information contained in the Haven Home Health Care Haven Member Handbook represents guidelines only and that the Company reserves the right to modify this Handbook or amend or terminate any policies, procedures, or Haven Member benefit programs at any time, or to require and/or increase contributions toward these benefit programs.
I understand that this Handbook is not a contract of employment between Haven Home Health Care and me and that I should not view it as such.
I understand and agree that this version of the Haven Home Health Care Haven Member Handbook supersedes all prior versions that have been issued by the Company and that it will be effective on January 1, 2019.
I further understand that no manager, supervisor or representative of Haven Home Health Care other than the President or Executive Director, has any authority to enter into any agreement guaranteeing employment for any specified period of time. I also understand that any such agreement, if made, shall not be enforceable unless it is in writing and signed by the President.
I have received a copy of this handbook and have read, or had it read to me. If I have any questions regarding this handbook, I understand that it is my responsibility to ask my supervisor or other member of management about them. I recognize it is my responsibility to review the policies, practices, standards, and rules it contains, and I agree to comply with them during my employment at Haven Home Health Care, Inc.
I understand the information in this Handbook is intended to acquaint Haven Members with general policies, principles, standards, and procedures, and does not represent a contractual commitment by the Company concerning terms of employment or other matters. The Company is free to act according to the best business judgment of its management and to change, interpret, withdraw, or add to the policies, procedures, and standards described in this handbook at any time without prior notice, consideration, or approval by a Haven Member. Amendments to any other part of this handbook may be issued by appropriate means of employer not is it a guarantee of any specific policies, procedures, standards, rules, or length of employment. I understand that my employment is considered “employment at-will” unless I may have otherwise entered into a contractual agreement with the owner or other properly designated Company official with actual authority to enter into such an agreement and that it must be in writing, directed to me personally and signed by him/her. I further understand that I will be responsible for complying with future changes in such policies, practices, standards, and rules.
